We currently have an excellent opportunity located at our Manufacturing plant in Old Fort, OH: This is working Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Position Overview
Assists in the administration of the Quality Management System programs and procedures.
Duties include general clerical, administrative, activity and project related tasks.
Reporting to the Quality Management System (QMS) Supervisor.
What you’ll do:
Responsibilities:
Change Control / Document Control
- Maintains document control process (prepares documents, issues reviews, monitors approvals, etc.).
- Ensures training requirements are completed.
- Maintains change control process (monitors completion status, reports periodic updates, etc.).
QMS Metrics
- Processes/prepares product and process performance data for trending and reporting.
Non-Conformance / CAPA
- Monitors and reports on status of non-conformance investigations and associated action items.
- May assist in performing investigations and/or implementation of corrective/preventive actions for quality events.
- Assist in processing deviations.
Calibration/Technology Transfer/Validation
- Monitors calibration schedule for adherence.
- Tracks/monitors status of plant trials, validations, etc.
Audits
- Monitors internal audit schedule for adherence.
- Supports internal audits (final report preparation, transfer to non-conformance system, etc.). May assist in performing internal audits.
- Supports external audits (scheduling, audit support activities, etc.)
Supplier Management
- Processes supplier performance data for trending and reporting.
- Assist with maintaining required supplier documentation (food safety certificates, supplier assessments, etc.).
- Monitors supplier/vendor assessment program schedule for adherence.
What you’ll need:
Requirements:
- High School diploma required
- 2+ years of job related experience preferred
- Experience in a regulated industry, Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills – ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally, written communication, etc.
- Technical writing experience a plus
- Good organizational/time management skills
- Ability to adjust and prioritize work assignments in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office Applications – specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Follow all assigned plant/corporate approved procedures and polices
